Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire Returns for 20th Year of Fantasy and Philanthropy
 

 

Show Low, AZ – Step into a world of fantasy and adventure as the Mountain of Hope Scholarship Foundation proudly announces the return of the beloved Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire for its 20th year! This immersive 3-day event promises to transport attendees to a bygone era filled with knights, queens, kings, nobles, and pirates while supporting Arizona's military and First Responders disabled in the line of duty.

 

July 9- 11, 2027, at Frontier Fields Park, 650 N. 9th Place, Show Low, AZ, guests will be captivated by the sights and sounds of a whimsically recreated Scottish Highland village. Experience thrilling battles between fully armored knights wielding real weapons, marvel at live demonstrations from skilled artisans, and enjoy captivating music and dance performances, along with comedy and children's story times across multiple stages.
 

 

"We are thrilled to bring back Medieval Mayhem for its 20th year," said Daris Gibbons, Mountain of Hope Foundation's Executive Director. "This event is not only a celebration of history and fantasy but also a vital fundraiser that allows us to provide crucial support to the brave men and women who have served our communities."
 

 

This year's faire features a diverse array of attractions, including merchant booths offering unique treasures, culinary delights to tantalize the taste buds, and animal encounters with the graceful Greyhounds of the Royal Realm.
 

 

On Friday, kids get in free from 12-2 p.m. during DaVinci Day! Children receive a treasure map to complete as they explore the Shire and learn various traditional skills. Parents and grandparents can purchase a special knighting ceremony for young lords and lassies that takes place in the combat eric at the appointed time each day. (Friday at 

2 p.m., Saturday & Sunday at Noon)
 

 

Guests will enjoy entertainment from around the world, with returning favorites such as Ghazaal Beledi belly dancers and Scott Jeffers Travler. The Sonoran Fairy Guild, The Parliament of Fools, and the Adventures of Splendid Absurdity are family favorites! New attractions are added each year to keep the entertainment lineup fresh and exciting! 

 

Attendees will not only be treated to a day of unforgettable entertainment but also contribute to a noble cause. All proceeds from the Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire directly benefit the Mountain of Hope Foundation, which supports Arizona Military and First Responders who suffer career-ending disabilities in the line of duty. The foundation also supports the families of the fallen.
