Inside of a Castle

FAQS

1. Are there any additional costs besides the entry fee?

All stage shows and other entertainment are included with admission, though tipping is encouraged. Games, rides, food, and beverages will incur additional charges.

2. Can we bring pets?

No. Pets are not permitted on the event grounds; however, dog-sitting services are available should you decide to attend and have your pet with you.

Service animals are not considered pets by the federal government and are welcome at the event.

Under the American Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability.

ADA also clearly states that emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals.

We prefer that Service Dogs have a proper identification vest when you bring them into the festival.

Please be prepared to answer this question upon entry:
What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

Note that our staff is not permitted to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of a person's disability.

Attendees must understand that service animals may be excluded or may be asked to leave the premises if the service animal is disruptive, the handler is unable to take effective control of the service animal, the service animal is not housebroken, the attendee does not clean up grounds after the animal defecates, or causes the working animals at our event to behave aggressively or become agitated.

3. What is the Weapons Policy?

Any swords, rapiers, edged or pointed, etc., that are worn as a part of your costume MUST BE SHEATHED AND PEACE TIED.  Our staff will secure & inspect peace ties at the entry gate.  No unsecured weapons will be allowed into the Faire site.

4. Can I bring outside food or drinks? Say for an infant or if I have food allergies?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the festival gates; however, you may bring in food for infants and toddlers, such as formula, baby  & toddler food and toddler snacks. You may bring in ONE unopened bottle of water per guest.

For individuals and families dealing with food allergies, we encourage you to check with our food vendors to see if they can accommodate your needs. If they cannot, we encourage you to bring a cooler that can be kept in your car and enjoyed outside of the event space.

Please have your hand stamped at the exit gate when you leave if you plan to return on the same day. When you re-enter the Park, show your stamped hand to the staff for re-entry.
